Hoboken Library Can Help Children Bee Ready for Kindergarten

25 Jan

We are excited about a great new resource we have to offer: Gale Presents: Miss Humblebee’s Academy, an interactive, online preschool curriculum, is now available free through the library. It fosters early literacy skills in children ages 3 to 6—setting them up for success in kindergarten and beyond.

This award-winning program prepares young learners for school with hundreds of guided lessons using videos, music, eBooks, and more. Kids will explore art, music, fitness, language, reading, math, science, social studies, and social and emotional learning. To ensure screen time is limited, 40 percent of the material is off-line, and printable resources and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics) activities are included.

Parents and caregivers can track their child’s learning outcomes through weekly progress reports that are emailed and available online 24/7.

Best of all, Miss Humblebee’s Academy offers a safe learning environment—free of pop-ups, ads, and links to other websites.

Why wait?

Tap into the natural excitement and curiosity of children with this fun and interactive learning solution.
